Prof Parameshwar has a total of 23+ years of professional experience. At the early stage of his career, he was part of the direct sales team for one of the textile majors in India. Then, he moved on to be part of a consulting team which worked on assignments that included Turnaround Management, Rehabilitation of sick industrial companies [to be presented before Board for Industrial & Financial Reconstruction – BIFR] helping revive sick industries across South Indian States. His other KRAs were Restructuring, Preparation of details project reports for new projects, Techno-Economic Feasibility Studies, Industry and Financial Analysis.
The major stint has been with Thomson Reuters handling Market Data Operations where he grew in levels from an analyst to quality controller to a team leader and handled several different teams with a span of control of 30+. He also dabbled with Project Management and was part of the core team which drove Business Process Reengineering across the financial data providing business unit. His teams spanned from intraday pricing team to end of the day pricing team, master data team, corporate actions team and data quality teams over a span of seven years as team leader.
He went on to build his startup – MobiTrolley Tech Solutions Pvt Limited – along with his friends in the space of retail analytics and got incubated as part of SAP Startup Focus Program between 2014 and 2016. As an entrepreneur, he has dabbled with Product Development, Market Sizing, Business Plan Canvas, Business Development and Go-To-Market Strategy in the space of retail analytics.
With an enduring desire to become an academician, he started his journey in academia in 2016. Experienced faculty of finance with a demonstrated history of working in industry and academia. Skilled in Business Planning, Management, Project Management, and MIS. Strong education professional with an eMDP focused on Project Management from Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode. Currently, he is pursuing doctoral studies in the area of finance.
