Dr Shalini Kalia is an academician, author, and institution builder with more than 18 years of experience in leading Business schools like NMIMS Global, S P Jain School of Global Management, and IMT Ghaziabad. Throughout her career, she has served in several leadership positions and has been at the forefront of heading various committees & end-to-end processes of top B-Schools in India. Dr Shalini is passionate about driving new initiatives and has played key roles as Chief Academic Officer at NMIMS Global; Deputy Director, EMBA (Mumbai), S P Jain School of Global Management; and Admissions Chairperson, IMT Ghaziabad.
In her last role as Chief Academic Officer at NMIMS Global, Mumbai, Dr Shalini led a large pool of distinguished academicians and supervised the academic offerings, including launching new programs across the domains. She also effectively spearheaded other academic activities like faculty recruitment and management, students experience management, the conduct of examinations, and observance of university guidelines.
Dr Shalini is a learner forever and has participated in several conferences/workshops like Case Teaching & Writing workshop at Ivey Business School (Canada); Negotiation & Leadership workshop at Harvard Law School (USA); one-year Advanced Program for Marketing Professionals (APMP) from IIM Calcutta; Leadership & Management in Higher Education-training program organized by AIMA’s Vice-Chancellors Council; Design Thinking Workshop at KPMG.
Dr Shalini has diverse teaching experience in the Communications & Management area at the schools of repute, including international schools like E M Normandie Business School (France); S P Jain School of Global Management (Dubai); IMT Dubai. She has been involved with highly esteemed and world-renowned AACSB & SAQS accreditations.
Dr Shalini has co-authored nine books with reputed publishers like Wiley, Pearson, and IGI Global in addition to several interdisciplinary case studies and research papers.
